As a Field Service Engineer, you will be at the forefront of revolutionising the way industries operate. The Role:

As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of their innovative power solutions. From troubleshooting and maintenance to on-site repairs, you will be the driving force behind their commitment to unparalleled customer satisfaction. This role offers a unique blend of technical challenges, client interaction, and the chance to work with innovative equipment.

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct timely servicing and maintenance tasks on BSES (Energy Storage Systems), Generators, Portable Air Compressors, Portable Lighting Towers and Pumps
  • Efficiently diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in customer equipment, both in the field and workshop settings
  • Execute Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and commissioning procedures for newly acquired equipment
  • Identify and requisition necessary parts for the repair of equipment
  • Accurately complete job reports and ensure their prompt submission
  • Plan and organise daily and weekly visit schedules as necessary
  • Adhere to and implement Health and Safety regulations in both workshop and on-site environments
  • Consistently apply high standards of engineering practices in all tasks
  • Proactively maintain and ensure the proper condition of test instruments
  • Actively contribute to the positive promotion of the company’s image within the Power division
  • Fulfil additional responsibilities as required to support operational needs

Requirements: 

  • Proven experience of repairing and servicing either ESES, generators, air compressors, lighting towers, pumps 
  • A background in the plant industry or engineering in the army/navy would be highly desirable 
  • Experience in fault finding essential 
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • Engineering qualification required 
  • PC literate and holds a clean valid driving license
