Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Location: North-East (UK Coverage)

Are you a skilled Field Service Engineer with a background in industrial boiler commissioning and servicing?

Our client a global leading manufacturer of industrial productivity solutions are looking for a hands-on field service engineer to join their rentals division. You will become a specialist in providing engineering solutions for their steam equipment and ensuring all key clients within the Oil & Gas, (petro)chemicals, energy and manufacturing industries can maintain their operations and productivity efficiently as possible.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of rental solutions. From troubleshooting and maintenance to on-site repairs, you will be the driving force behind their commitment to unparalleled customer satisfaction. This role offers a unique blend of technical challenges, client interaction, and the chance to work with innovative equipment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on steam equipment, including boilers, turbines, and related systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and implement proactive solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet and exceed expectations.
  • Offer technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times, promoting a culture of safety within the workplace.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience a field service engineering or a related field servicing and commissioning industrial boilers is essential.
  • BOAS qualification is desirable
  • Qualification in engineering
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility to travel to client sites within the UK, with a base located in the North East.
  • Full Clean UK Driving License
