Job Title: Project Manager (Subsea Engineering)
Location: North West, UK
Salary: Competitive


Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in subsea engineering? Do you excel at managing projects safely and effectively, ensuring timely delivery and high standards? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Main Duties:

  • Conduct site visits to verify operations are conducted safely and effectively.
  • Develop and maintain a project schedule to ensure maximum efficiency, timely delivery, and manage client expectations for completion.
  • Develop engineering solutions in line with client requirements.
  • Draft, review, and approve project documentation.
  • Ensure all project deliverables are developed and issued on time and meet client requirements.
  • Implement company Safety Management Systems at the site level.
  • Ensure competence assurance processes are followed during project crewing processes.
  • Ensure project operations are carried out safely and to a high standard.
  • Thoroughly complete the project Risk Assessment process.
  • Ensure projects are adequately resourced to support completion.
  • Implement company HSEQ policies at the project level.
  • Liaise closely with clients to develop engineering solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Coordinate with operational support departments to ensure company policy is implemented on all projects (e.g., crewing, HSEQ).
  • Liaise with suppliers to projects and ensure supplier verification processes are implemented.
  • Manage project budgets to ensure projects are delivered on target.
  • Provide regular reports to the Operations Manager on the status and progress of project operations.
  • Receive regular reports from site personnel and ensure key issues are identified and addressed.

Qualifications and Experience:
Required:

  • Subsea engineering experience.
  • Experience as a project engineer.
  • High level of familiarity with relevant UK legislation, standards, and guidance.
  • Strong team working skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Desirable:

  • Experience within relevant technical discipline.
  • QCF Level 6 or higher qualification in Engineering.
  • PRINCE2 or equivalent.
