About You:
Do you have a strong commitment to upholding high standards in construction procedures while placing emphasis on the welfare of the team and the environment? Our client is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to become a part of their team, taking on the role of overseeing Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental aspects across our projects. You will have 4 direct reports across the four regions of the UK and have a heavy involvement in Quality at Head Office.

Duties:
Develop, execute, and sustain the Integrated Management System (IMS) for the company.
Ensure adherence to industry regulations, standards, and legal requirements concerning QHSE protocols.
Perform risk assessments, audits, and inspections to pinpoint potential hazards and areas necessitating enhancement.
Offer leadership, direction, and training to staff regarding quality, health, safety, and environmental concerns.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, formulating corrective and preventive measures to mitigate risks.
Collaborate with regulatory bodies, clients, and subcontractors concerning quality, health, safety, and environmental matters.
Continuously monitor and assess performance indicators to propel ongoing improvement endeavours.

What is needed for the role:

NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (Essential).
Knowledge of the industry, with a strong understanding of quality, health and safety and environmental management systems. (Essential)
Knowledge of ISO Certification: ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 (Highly Desirable).
Strong leadership qualities, interpersonal and communication skills (Highly Desirable).
Problem solving and having a strong attention to detail are a must, and this role calls for an ability to engage and influence all key stakeholders.
Knowledge of necessary regulations and legislation.
