Test Engineer
Role & Responsibilities:
– Health & Safety Create and maintain risk assessments, ensuring proper PPE usage.
– Customer Service: Provide regular updates, ensuring project delivery meets customer expectations.
– Technical Excellence Deliver tests professionally, review and analyse data, validate test results, and maintain equipment calibration and project documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:
– Educated to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic).
– Passion for Driveline test and development, including HV electric machines.
– Previous industry work experience in driveline testing is desirable.
– Knowledge of mechanical driveline and electric vehicle drive systems is advantageous.
– Familiarity with test bed control systems, CAN communications, CAD, and instrumentation/data acquisition is preferred.
– High Voltage awareness (training provided).

– Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
– Organized, analytical, and adept at problem-solving.
– Willing to learn, flexible, adaptable, and highly motivated.
– Customer-focused with a commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
Additional Information:
– Position based in Leyland.
– Full UK driving licence & own transport required.
– Flexibility to travel as needed.
– Willing to undergo a Criminal Disclosure check.
