Job Title: Workshop Engineer – Power Tools

Location: Hertfordshire

Salary: £25-30k dependant on experience

Job Purpose:

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct timely servicing and maintenance of customer machines.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on equipment, within the workshop.
  • Perform PDI and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Identify necessary parts for repairs.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including hours recording and Job Reports.
  • Maintain high standards of engineering practice.
  • Oversee Goods in and Receivable admin for the workshop.

Key Skills/Attributes & Experience:

  • Hands-on experience fault finding and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Proficient in PC usage.
  • Enthusiastic and results-oriented with a focus on quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ideally experience in servicing construction equipment.
